Electric OpitonHere are some photos of the still when configured with the electrical setup. It plugs into a standard electric dryer outlet, 30 amp 240 volt. 220 volt can be ordered as an option (If a 240 volt unit is used on 220, it will work fine, but just be a tiny bit slower in operation, probably not even noticable....) Below are photos showing the outside of an electric still with on/off switch and power cord, the internal heater element, and the underside "stuff" that makes it work on electricity instead of gas. The heater element has a built in safety cutoff- in case you let it run out of water it will automatically shut the still down: ![]() |
